Bendtner surely?
-
• #146278
United looking shambolic which is nice. City have it wrapped it up already but still 2 to 4th to play for.

• #146279
Lord Bendtner was injured, doesn't count.

He played for Rosenborg during the WC didn't he?

Maybe he was injured while they were preparing the squad and recovered.

Palace tonight. Expecting a very difficult game that sees us go down 2-0

• #146284
Nah, MSL will win 3-1 IMO.

@Chalfie using statistics to figure out a most watchable top 100
Spurs behind only Man City and Liverpool of the Premier League teams in the top 100.
Liked this piece of info (spoiler alert!!!)
The average midtable match in Spain, then, is more likely to result in a randomly enjoyable Saturday morning than, say, Southampton (56th) vs. Everton (68th), even though those teams ranked 10th and 11th, respectively, among Premier League clubs in watchability. -

As someone who watched a large amount of Burnley's matches last season I had great fun. If you want entertainment go and watch clowns.

Jose to Burnley. Taps nose.

• #146288
I'm not sure I get it? Something about him being anonymous at the WC?
-
• #146289
Probably but hardly surprising after the assault he suffered. Pretty sure he still managed to bag a goal or two though.
-
• #146290
Oh well he’s back to his diving best now.

This Liverpool kit is awful.

1-02-0 win
palace fought well, nervy right till the 2nd goal in the 93rd minute -
• #146295
Fantastic hard fought victory. All Palace really had to offer were fouls in and around the box. These are the games we need to win if we hope to finish 2nd or 3rd.

Good to win, though it was basically a scrappy 1-0 with a cherry on top.
I spent a lot of time feeling that Alexander-Arnold and Robertson should have been whipping in crosses a bit earlier. Also sorry to see Wan-Bissaka get sent off, he was having a good game until then.

What an end to a great weekend. Arse out the title race before the end of August which is usually where we are. Now United confirm Toxic Mo is on his way out https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45253623 a defeat against Tottenham will see them also out of the race. Lovely stuff -

It seems like the narrative for the Premiership season is already set in stone according to the Guardian. Man City are going to win the league, although maybe not as stylishly as last season because they want to win the CL more, Liverpool are going to run them close, just because. Mourinho should be sacked this weekend if they don't win, but if not then the weekend after. Spurs are happy to be Spurs. Sarri smokes y'know? Arsenalol.
