Enough to but a new black front caliper and a cable set!!
The two black ones your man hooked me up with were both rear calipers 😂
-
• #4859
The new ones are the same! You just need to drill an 8mm hole in the back of the fork - NOT THE FRONT!! and a bit Kit, do you ever see amey? I have a few spare bolt kits I can post with his new bike the week after the one starting tomorrow?

I thought you were joking about the front wheel hubs, but comparing the normal and the superlight, the normal feels really rough.
Is the rough feeling the ball grade, the cone, the hub or the lack of lubrication.

I never joke! ha!
There tends to be a bit of grease in there, i have tested various.. new bearings, more / less /different grease with no real improvement. Just cheap and cheerful!

You are joking about cheap and cheerful ;)
Ah forgot the brompton tax.

Really? I’ve ridden them for years but I still find mine twitchy, and giving hand signals in London is still a dodgy thing. I can’t imagine riding mine hands off!
-
• #4870
Depends for me, some days I am fine no hands for a bit, some days its a total no go!
-
• #4871
Fucksocks, I just ordered one of those off the internetz at the weekend, £35. What’s your rrp?
-
• #4872
Think they will be £39.99!
-
• #4873
Ah well. I buy stuff off your lot sometimes, seeing as Brompton won’t sell me stuff as I’m not a dealer, the cnuts. Should have waited a few days I guess, but on the other hand it’s for the missus, so she’s paying for it :)

Dunno! Maybe mine's less twitchy than most, I'm not bad on a bike but I'm no Peter Sagan... #bikepolotaughtmehowtorideabikeproperly

Aye, same as most companies! I tried to buy a genesis part a while back, madision would not let me even though we have probably the biggest account with madision for spare parts... it’s an odd industry at times!
Think I’m going to add one of those racks to our baby Brompton (spare parts m3) when it’s ready.
For now, the oh m6 is now an m3, will be going to an s2 soon #racebike
