Dynatech retro mtb - what to do? What to do?

I’ve had this Raleigh dyna-tech since the mid 90s. It was my last courier bike and I’ve dragged it around with me halfway across the world ever since.
I semi updated it about 10 years ago with new cranks, v-brakes and replaced the original clear gripshift.
Currently has a 44 on with a 13-21 7 speed. The old 105 seems to still work pretty well.
Still has the original headset, seatpost and stem though (I think) which weigh a ton! Rims are a Ritchey Expert Vantage with DX hub on the front and an Ambrosio Texas 24 with no name hub at the back so pretty bombproof.
Crappy saddle and pedals are on as I lent it to someone for a while.

So I’m wondering what to do with it. I don’t really want to spend a lot on it and it’s perfectly rideable at the moment. Its just, I dunno a little... uninspiring?
First thoughts are to strip it down and spray it. Maybe contrasting lugs with fadez on the main tubes?
Also try to lighten it up a bit. The frame ain’t light though so it’d be the wheels.
The other option is just to sell it and look for a new project.

A new set of jockey wheels?! Got to keep it though, surely. I've mostly regretted selling bikes once the buzz of a cash hit has faded.

Cool bike, If it were me i'd keep it, desticker, black seat post, black Sram X4, beater Flite, front rack and some shin destroying period MTB pedals, probably budget about £50.

Then maybe a rattle can splatter paint job but not before my parts matched up.

Shifting over to functional but all good shouts.
Definitely needs a flite. I’ve been looking for the one with the Kevlar rear panels that I had years ago.
Will have to see what tyres I can fit in but there plenty of clearance. Anyone know size seatpost these take?

See if there are any markings on the current seatpost, or try to measure it using calipers.

This looks like same model as mine? 1991 Encounter. If so plenty of tyre clearance, I'm running Halo twin rails
