What's left this year in terms of long PBP qualifying rides?
I don't think I'll be doing Borders of Belgium as Revolve 24hr is the week after.

Blackpool - Glasgow - Blackpool
Fenland Friends / Flatlands Reversed
They're the only 600s. Apart from one other this weekend.
3 Down as a 300?

Fenland Friends / Flatlands Reversed
8th Sep, same date as BoB, could be a go'er...
http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/18-398/Blackpool - Glasgow - Blackpool
21st, I'm already booked.
I've done 3Down loads. You can't do DIYs or Perms for pre-qual can you? It has to be BRM?
Actually is BoB a BRM event?
-

the fuck's BoB?
I'm booked in for Fenland Friends.
And yeah, has to be a BRM. No perms or DIYs.

Borders of Belgium
Literally written in the post above. Sheesh :P
https://bordersofbelgium2016en.weebly.com/
"The Borders of Belgium will be organized as a BRM and therefore the rules of the ACP apply."So that's a yes, I think.

ah ffs!
-
• #8033
and I'm the one that just got back from TCR :P
BoB will require travel and at least two days off work but I've always wanted to do a 1000k. But a 600k is quicker, easier, and won't leave me as fooked for Revolve.

I reckon I'll enter this 600k. I can't even remember what I've done this year. Not much IIRC.
ENTERED.
-
• #8035
Fenland Friends? See you there!
-
• #8036
Yeah, I haven't got the time for BoB and I could probably keep the 600k pleasant enough that I'm not ruined for Revolve, ie. plan ahead and get proper sleep mid-ride.

Any one doing tour of the hills on Sunday?
Yes and I will be riding out and back from central London (but not ECEing it).
Does anyone fancy forming an expedition?
-
• #8038
Its definitely a Shiv ride.
-
• #8039
Flatlands? Clue's in the name, eh?
I wonder if I'll be able to cope with the 400ft climbs... :S
-
• #8040
I'll be there but I doubt if I will ever see you.
-
• #8041
I'll be taking it easy on the bike plus trying to get as much sleep as possible so you never know.
Fatigue from racing plus taking it easy so I'm ok to race Revolve is my priority. -
• #8042
I'm only ECEing because I want my 100AAA points to be entirely BR(M). I'm still not sure how its going register on AUK (the 100 + 100 obviously gives two points so technically it becomes a BR, I think)
If you fancy a couple of extra climbs, I'll be passing through Esher about 0715 I reckon.
I'll be on the green fixed amd wearing ACH jersey.
( @mustardbeak - How much be caps?)

In other news,
Is anyone riding both London 200s on 15/16th September?
I close to pushing pay on RR, but not sure. Gonna ECE SOH up to 300, and RR is just round the corner, so little excuse not too really?EDIT - I'm in for both now.

Yeah I think I'd be up for that if you don't mind the company. If I'm to slow for you I can always take a shortcut :-D
Will DM you a phone number.

Sorry missed this yesterday I don't have notifications switched on.
Usually around 22, it's a bit of a long story but we are having a slight rebrand due to design rights and will be updating the design on both jerseys and caps, it won't be vastly different and hopefully won't take too long, we are working on it asap.

Just became the latest member, went for a year to start with.
Need to work out if I can do BGB now. -

To do a series I can use a 400 in place of a 300k right?
South of Bucks Winter Warmer 200
Brevet Cymru 400
Porkers 400
Flatlands 600Doesn't look like I get a AAA set this year though. I guess I could do Greenwich Mean Climb to get the proper 300k. I could find a hilly 600k Perm to do as well as Flatlands. That new Welsh one perhaps.

Yep, looking at your results you just need a 600 (or longer) for an SR.

• #8049
I've entered the Fenland Fiends next month. I should probably do a AAA one but I've probably done enough climbing this year :)

Theres a 200 out of Bristol on 22/09 with AAA. Bristol is about 200km away, so 20o+ 400.
Backdoor entry maybe, but its a AAA 600 as far as the points are concerned.(This may or may not be my plan for a couple of rides next season)
Penrith could be a stop after the Shap. Carlisle at 150km was good for us. So sleep at 150 and 450km.
