Yeah. For a long time the Synapse was the road bike you bought from Cannondale if you Couldnt ride a CAAD or SuperSix but wanted Cannondale written on the down tube. It was a lacklustre road bike.
Or in my case, because it was cheap and I needed a bike to work over winter ;) But yeah, I agree, overall rather uninspiring ride, pretty flexy.
