CRC/Wiggle. Lifeline stuff is really good and really cheap.

Found those. https is broken though so he's not ordering from them until they fix it.

I got 10 Conti tubes from Evans (on line) last week for £27.

Cheers, he's after threaded valves and Conti are smoooooooth. I think the Lifeline ones will work, just gotta wait until the stores sort their https out.
-

I'm not sure what you mean, hips; threaded where?
-
• #87
Threaded along the whole valve, so he can use one of those retaining things to clamp it to the rim.

Ah, yeah. Ok, all the ones of theirs I've seen have smooth shafts (ooh nurse). The ones he was looking at did anyway. I'll pass the info along. Ta
Oh, maybe it was only the super long valves that were smooth?

My pleasure, dear boy.

The 60mm is threaded, the 80mm is smooth.

Halfords do 5x for £10 online. Can do click and collect if you have a store nearby etc. Have long and short valves good range of widths
-

Halfords appear to no longer be doing multi deals...if anyone knows of good offers running, do let me know thanks

I just got some for not too ridiculous a price from Evans.
£3.19 each for Conti 700 x 28ish.

Not sure what the problem anyone’s had with lifeline ones. I’ve used them exclusively for 18 months and they’ve been brilliant

Forum group buy? I've just about run out from the one we did in 2009. :)
(Facilitated by @ehren_fried_chicken at the time IIRC.)

Yeah, in 2009 I bought a ton of inner tubes online and went around the various North/East/South/West beers and distributed them. Ah, memories...

I did a bit of searching and the original thread is still around: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/145120/
Even most of the links still work!
And 50/14 is also in the thread!!!

Anyone used Continental Hermetic Plus tubes? They are a bit more expensive and heavier, but apparently more puncture proof and I'm wondering it they are worth it.
I've been buying Halfords tubes lately (needed tubes that day a couple times so couldn't wait for mail order).
£3each I think and quality seems fine.
Plastic wrapped rather than recyclable cardboard isn't great but its a lot more compact so you can leave new tubes wrapped when you carry them and they're a bit more protected.
Good range of sizes if not valve length.
