I send you a warm greeting.
I am writing from Pereira Colombia, just like you, I am a Moser Fanatic. To summarize a bit in the Year 1985 was the same Francesco Moser, running what is known in Colombia, (CARACOL DE PINTA) SNAIL OF TRACK, event that annually meets world-class fuguras and runs in the cities of Medellin, Pereira and Cali.
In that year and after his well-known World record in the City of MEXICO of 1984 - 51,151. We had the opportunity after many flirtations to their Bikes, to stay with their F. MOSER 51.151 same that the same FRANCESCO MOSER was riding in the entire Event.
That is my F. MOSER 51.151 same that today I want to show you with the taste.
I hope you like it and do not refrain from commenting.
Kindly.

Here’s mine.
Trying to find out more about it, so any insight appreciated.
It has a lugged Oria tubeset with longitudinal ridges in the main tubes, gipiemme dropouts, internal brake routing through the top tube, and all the usual moser pantos across frame and fork. There’s no decals on it outside of the oria tubing label - the logos are painted on. Italian threaded B.B. with the following markings;
down-tube lug: “s 13”
driveside: “VMR1533E”
non-driveside: “L58C”

Can’t see the ribs on the main tubes on the photos. Ribbing would make it Oria GM0.0. Looks very similar to my Leader NP, but I’d require more detailed photos to tell.

Thanks, some more pics below. It doesn’t have any tubeset specifics on the decal unfortunately. When was GM0.0?

I've just bought a moser frame that has no seat post clamp (similar to the bike pictured). Can anyone tell me the name of the type of seat post that fits these types of tubes please?

Look for 'expander seatpost' o simply 'Moser seatpost' as they are only used on Moser Leader frames.

Oh shift. It is no longer available. That was a leader ax crono, with 26 fork. It was repainted but the shell tells it was June 1993.

Hello!
I just bought a Moser cyclocross steel bike and I'm now trying to learn more about this specific model. My intention is to adapt it to a simple commuter bike (I particularly like the idea of the huge tire clearance due to the cantis), not to restore it as this doesn't seem to be worth it anyway.
The frame decor is similar to the '82 Team Bike, but it doesn't have any chrome sections. Rear dropouts are Campa, but there isn't any other indication regarding tubes etc. Originally, it was probably equipped with Campa Nuevo Record (but only the front derailleur and the bar end shifters remain) and Sugino Mighty cranks, Mafac cantis.

(Sorry for the dropbox links. I don't manage to upload a file directly into the post.)Does anybody have any clue regarding the model, year, tubing and original equipment? Any hint, link to a catalogue would be highly appreciated!
Cheers,
Martin
Finally completed!
