2018-08-15 - Rider Down/Fatality, Holborn

Today's tragedy is the fourth cyclist fatality on this small one-way traffic system in the last five years.
London Cycling Campaign are calling for a demonstration at Holborn on Monday at 6pm

They say:

Join us in protesting at Holborn on Monday, 6PM, to send a strong message to the Mayor, TfL and London’s Councils that they need to pick up the pace. They needs to break this lethal pattern.

Just opposite the crash site there are the sad remains of another crash. A broken mangled bike chained to a post, with a few weeds growing up through the frame.
