YO! I was out to see Sam today. He is making stems all the time. Hopefully everybody will have theirs soon. I know Steve the painter has been absent lately because of some family tragedy, so some stems that have been done for a while have been delayed a bit.

Im sure that as soon as he’s done a second stem for everyone who’s first stem is delayed at powder he’ll get to us peeps that never wanted powder coat. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Sam is not on LFGSS. Give him a bell if you want to talk to him about the stem. I reckon TvH did that. If you are not in this country I'll talk to him for you. But there is also email.
As I've said he has gone over to making one stem at a time to ensure they are good enough.
You are still getting a custom stem for £50 but there is nothing I can do about lead time now.

I really don't know who Sam is or what's his email. I ordered a stem through Batt and you and asked if you have any info on lead time. You offered to ask for me, that's it.

I can relate to people being frustrated about not having their stem yet and other getting an extra stem made.
Sam is generally too good a guy and has done this to be nice to TvH not knowing it will back fire in this thread.
Personally I thought these would all have been done before summer and I am really sorry they haven't.
But that is what happens with hand made things.

I have just designed these (for myself mind you) and given you guys the opportunity to get in on the action by convincing Stayer Cycles it was a good idea. I still think it is.
Custom stem for £50

It is a big task to make this many stems and I know Sam feels shit about not having them done yet. But he is doing what he can to finish them while also doing stuff that pays bills.
Nobody is making any money on this. At all!

And right now I'd wish I hadn't started this as I spend way too much time in this thread.
If there is any frustration or enquiries about the stems call up Sam. He really is a lovely bloke and he will make you feel better.
