What are the biggest tyres I can fit to a Mash Parallax? 25's or even 28's? Anyone got any experience?
-
• #4228
I have an XS Mash Parallax (2015) and it can easily fit 28c Schwalbe One tyres on H Plus Son Archetypes front and rear (with the rear wheel all the way forward in the track ends).

Depends on tyre I'd say. 25mm is widest I can go with GP 4000 S II and GP Classic in the front.

Thanks people. I think probably Gatorskins.

Can confirm 28c Hardshell rear Gatorskin 28c worked on my Parallax (TB14 I think).

10/10 perfect HHSB Would ride with risers a disc wheel and a zip 3000

Looks like it's just hidden by the cranks.

It needs a head tube gusset

• #4237
Agreed.
It looks decent as a frameset on it's own. Built up in that second photo it just kind of looks like a Leader or something. -

Looks like Cinelli is getting on the hype train

I kind of like the look of it, but i feel guilty about that

Tapered HT & Wing TTs & for fuck sake, get that rear wheel tukt.
-
• #4243
The aerodynamics are improved when the wheel isn’t tukt.

This is not the kind of frame where that matters over aesthetics

I'm surprised that the brake bridge is drilled.
-
• #4246
Perfect for a road trainer or countries requiring two mechanical brakes.
Cannondale track homage too.

drill-able actually.
I'm not a fan of this paint scheme but I really love the photography inspired theme throughout most Mash frames. Also nice that they changed the seat clamp design haha.
Welds are still shit though -

Yeah, that's what I mean, compared to my 2013 MASH Bolt's bridge which is unusable. I'm not blown away by the colour scheme either, at least mine has some colour in the Cinelli logo, but MASH has none of that. Didn't consider that overarching theme though - a nice thing.
