What’s the deal with tipping? I’ve sometimes given a bit extra if they’ve spent extra time drawing or editing while I’m there, but it’s such a big personal expense already it’s a bit tough to part with more, especially if I’ve just chosen some flash. I once grabbed a bag of beers for a (highly respected/trendy) shop, as I had a consultation that didn’t go very well and I felt like I wasted their time a bit, and was met with such ambivalence I ended up feeling like a bit of a weirdo.
