  • Yeah, and he has been a Pro Tour rider since 2011, so hardly a cat 5 chopper.

  • Ha, no, but good suggestion. I actually saw that. It wasn't quite that painful.

Funnily enough while trying to find the tweet in question I found a tweet from Philips saying the oneblade shouldn't be used on your legs, so he's not even doing it right.

Fairly sure it was a euro pro.

  • Dimension Data sign Roman Kreuziger on a two year deal.

Fuck that, how can you go from a team that everyone wants to do well to one where no one cares how you do in the space of two years?

  • What a finish, and what a comeback from injury for Trenin.

  • Looked like WVA needed another gear up. Thought he was gonna get him.

  • Funnily enough while trying to find the tweet in question I found a tweet from Philips saying the oneblade shouldn't be used on your legs

Did they say why? Seems strange

  • (former) cyclocrossers' podium @ Euro champs. finishers looked like crossers, too

  • Followed a link from Twitter to read a blog post by David Millar saying how much he loves the Vuelta, which turned out to be a glorified advert for his Vuelta range of clothing. Had a quick squizz but backed out very quickly when I saw the cycling cap was £30. Behave

  • He's not a man, he's a lifestyle.

  • Dimension Data needs WT points and have £££, Kreuziger presumably wants £££ and maybe leadership, and has WT points... good fit. Same with Valgren.

Rumor is Cav is retiring. Seems like quite the family man these days, so wouldn't surprise me to be honest.

  • He's a fucking prong.

  • I can't believe how filthy the roads were. It's not a great circuit is it? You'd think they'd have worked that out from the Commonwealth games.

  • I thought he was going to keep going and see whether he can do the madison in Japan 2020?

  • I’m not saying I’d of [sic] won today. But it would of been nice to be in the race and not watching it because of Yet ANOTHER mechanical problem. Another opportunities gone because of the same problem.

Adam Blythe happy with his 3T again. Though it seems like a saddle issue rather than single ring.

  • Did they hire Danny Foffa as team mechanic?

  • Both Yateses in the Vuelta.

  • For mid race twin swap to prevent what happened in giro?

  • Kreuziger has the whiff of doping hanging around, he's also 32 and on the way down. It follows the exact same recruitment policy they've followed for the past few seasons, i.e. signing expensive names on their way down, and that has been a disaster.

  • Check out today’s finish of the women’s world tour race in Sweden, Vos showing how bike handling skills wins races.

  • Maybe concentrating on the track? Would allow him much more time at home I'd guess. And it's well documented how badly he wants an Olympic gold.

@andyp I did say it was a good fit... Di Data seem to be lacking in the recruitment department, Brian Smith did a lot up until the signing of Cav it seems, but since then, the team hasn't got anyone new or exciting in, and anyone the did show promise is on the way out. Hoping Valgren changes that as he's a top bloke by all accounts.

  • Could only find this video

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0Om5TSvQOg

which shows a split second of her move. Anyone got a better link?

  • @voxwomen on Twitter have a great clip.

  • MVDP and Trentin talked about it before the race and concluded it was a bit like cyclocross, a million corners, slippery when wet and filthy. I think it was extra filthy because there's a lot of traffic using those city roads and there's been a long dry period before the race.
