Itching for an apple watch and going to HK next week = messive saving to be had... should I? Just thinking about timing might be a bit meh as the word on the street is saying there will be a new watch next month...

A friend bought me my Apple Watch there. Big saving - well worth the money. I have a series 3 non-cellular and it does everything I need. Not sure what a new watch could do better apart from the looks. I have a protector surround on mine following a mishap with a tiled floor. House insurance replaced it. If you do buy one - don’t drop it!

I have one for sale if you're interested...
-
• #13057
Any particular reason you are selling? I presume it’s the 42mm.
-
• #13058
38mm.
It just doesn't get used. I tend to just wear normal watches instead.
-
• #13059
Oddly, I’m in the opposite position and am looking for a normal watch to wear on special occasions etc.
Thzkks for the reply.

It's Apple fan mentality really, would get a bit gutted if a new model gets released mere weeks after buying a current model of an apple product, especially Apple doesn't really increase their pricing on new models... well not always... I'd get over it by Christmas if I ended up buying 1 now though.
And I agree that there isn't any new feature I'd need, in fact, I don't even know why do I need a smart watch...

• #13061
Thanks, but I'd want a 42mm one, I like big watches...

Just discovered you can hackintosh a Thinkpad...

Might be wrong thread... but what do people use for connecting their iPhone 7 (no headphone jack) into older cars? I've got one of those aux cables coming out of the tape deck but obviously no where to plug it into...

• #13064
I've got a cheap bluetooth receiver with a headphone jack. Have to manually connect each time, but it's a cable less to worry about. I bought the cheapest one with good reviews on Amazon and it's been working great.
-
• #13065
Surely you can just use the headphone adapter that came with your iPhone?
-
• #13066
How does the Bluetooth do?
I just got Bluetooth headphones and the inconsistency in sound drives me insane

• #13067
Want to be able to charge as well
-
• #13069
It works fine. Sound quality might not be great but it’s in a car so doesn’t really matter that much as long as it’s ok

The reviews on those splitters aren't great. But maybe need something apple certified...

Anyone interested in an LG 5K display?
£700 ono, works a treat but not great with AMD GPU in Bootcamp. -
• #13073
Tempting!
Would need posting to sweden though, would that be an issue?
