I'd identify the artist(s) your wife wants and speak to them directly. You don't want to choose a tattoo artist based on what ink they use if their work is not what you'd want on your body for the rest of your life, but instead you could ask your chosen artist if they would be happy to use / have had experience with using ink without metal and if they know the longevity of the tattoos etc etc.
What kind of reaction would your wife get? Could she try to get a tiny tattoo done somewhere hidden / or in an area that the small 'sample' could later be covered by the actual thing?
Also, bear in mind different colours would give you different level allergic reaction. I think red is the worst?
Any known tattoo studios/artists that use ink without metal?
Preferably in London.
Wife is keen to get a tattoo done but is allergic to many metals. Reading online most inks have metal in them through there are inks without.
Does anyone have recommendations of places that offer such inks? Also, how do they compare to regular inks in the long term?
Cheers.
