  • Could anyone suggest some budget friendly base bars and extensions?
    My first aerobars kinda deal

  • Zipp Vuka Alumina.

  • Depends how cheap you want to go, if you think you will keep at it then spend a little more, but if it's just to have a go then cheap is fine.

I started off with planet x selcof ones (were token but look identical) and they never came loose etc. I upgraded to ski bend extensions, they do those now but they are not in stock.

Cut down and flip some old bars or buy cheap bullhorns from wiggle / PX

  • budget friendly

Scilly Suffolk has nailed it, Vuka Alumina (the old ones, not the new ones) is the right choice because of the huge range of adjustment available. You are going to end up trying a lot of adjustments on your first set of tribars. While there are cheaper options ab initio, they start to look more expensive when you run out of adjustment and have to buy another different set. Profile T series would be the other option for the same reason, but the Zipps are nicer.

Deda Crono Nero or Profile Airwing would be a sound cheap base bar.
