harry sold next summer to meet the repayment schedule
wonder what jose trumps face looks like right now, i would advise no-one to approach him for the next 24hrs

seems like the extreme prices and inflated wages are killing transfers
clubs just not willing to pay the big deals these daysalexi sanchez's £600k per week might be peak wage

Strong window. Thanks Levy.

just heard on talk sport levis new catering company won the catering contract at the armitage shanks stadium, he's done alright this transfer window

Is it right that Spurs now have a 24 man squad having failed to bring anyone in and not having enough homegrown players? Can't imagine Poch is too happy about that.

Plenty of unhappy managers before a ball is even kicked. Best preseason so far, let's hope it carries into the season,

Providing no crazy sums of money come our way for Hazard, Kante and Willian than 6th place could be on for us.
That's a serious squad. If Sarri can get bedded in quick enough, lose none of the current players, ditch the EL, there is no reason they are not challengers.

Got rid of a dick who wasn’t as good as he thought he was and signed a real prospect. Happy with that.
Madrid want the new guy, too?
-
• #146086
Nice two fingers up to Jose, refuse his advances to Maguire and still sign two centre backs.

We haven't played in the Premiership this century!
Urgh... Premier LEAGUE...

Impressive work from you guys in the window.
Soyuncu is a quality player - who do you have at RB?

Fulham and Wolves doing serious bits.
Everton with a cheeky flourish right at the last.

Ricardo Pereira
-
• #146091
Of course! He's quality.
You've managed to refresh your entire defence (which was starting to creak!)
-
• #146092
Yep, pretty pleased with that window.

Spurs Become The First Premier League Club To Make No Transfers In A Summer Window
Maybe it's some sort of cunning plan to bind the squad together or something.

Will the sheriff be sporting a waistcoat?
-
• #146095
Really excited about our midfield, pretty epic trio...
-
• #146096
How's he going to get into a waistcoat with his hands tied behind his back?
-
• #146097
True. With RLC behind them and Cesc too it could be decent. Can’t see Drinkwater and Barkley getting much game time though. My biggest worry is that the relatively flat back 4 won’t give us much depth going forward.

Fulham
Where did that come from? Big signings. So money. Such transfers!
Anguissa, Mitro, Mawson, Fosu-Mensah, Rico/Bryan/Vietto? Seri/leMarchand! Chambers? Schurrle! Fabri?
No-one has bought Sessegnon which means THFC go without and we see what will happen during the season. With the cash that has been splashed he may even be tempted to extend his contract.
Glad they've got rid of stampy Fredericks. He was fast and tricky but quite stampy.

Am I the only Spurs fan 'cool' with no signings? Yes, ideally one or two would have been nice (exciting) and useful (possibly) but we've lost no one and would probably have ended up with a net (value wise) loss if we'd done a 2 out 2 in. I'd rather (given our other financial responsibilities) sit out this season's transfer fee silly season in the hope that fees 'settle' next; if not there'll be an even more massive shift/increase in all financial aspects of football. Lamela back to fitness and Moura (aka Pamela and Moira) now settled the squad will certainly have been freshened up.
Re: Grealish - glad we weren't held to 'relative' ransom. Levy said this is what we'll pay, Villa said this is what we want - they weren't the same; decent business by both and they'll both feel vindicated; nothing worthy of fuss, prejudice, mockery or even much discussion. -

Senior staff at OT briefing the press about their lack of trust in Mourinho's judgement, the day before their season starts.
This season could be a belter.
Spurs not signing someone I would consider to be fine if I was a Spurs fan.
Chelsea have lost Isaac Christie-Davies to Liverpool on a Bosman.
Well it could be Liverpool’s season after all.
