Yeah. That is the only reason I embarked on this stupid project.
That and the fact that Dave Tiemeyer built it.
I am a big fan of his work and was excited to see how he'd done it.

the GT stamped 'virtual top tube end'
Saw this today. Looks like the "official" way of doing it is maybe a hole through the top tube with seat tube slotted through it or something. Would be a nightmare getting the two portions of the seat tube well-aligned enough to take a seatpost if you cut them apart I expect.
