Real are the nastiest of teams. I would even support United over that shower of cunts were they to face each other in the CL.

Still crying about Salah?

At least we have a striker. Four or five at last count. Would be interested to see who will score your goals this season.

I'm gonna take that as a yes...

If it makes you feel better about the shambles that is Chelsea right now.

What’s the highest a newly promoted team have finished in the PL? Not really interested in ancient history.
-
• #146033
Let me rephrase that, will Wolves top 10?
-
• #146034
I expect so, a Wolves ST holder mate of mine, is very confident of 8th/7th.

Forest finished 3rd in 94/95
Edit: so did Newcastle in 93/94

• #146037
I don't think so.

Burnley could easily do a Reading this season.

He'll fit in well if played in a support role to the main striker. Not a creative number 10, but he'll chase flick ons and balls played over the back of the defence. A lot of his goals last season were penalties.
He's one of the most gifted finishers we've had at Derby in many years and he will shoot with either foot rather than some players who need to shift the ball onto the only foot they feel comfortable shooting with.
He will hopefully be a good signing for you. He deserves to have another go at the EPL and the consensus around Derby fans was that he would possibly struggle to find a role if we are to continue playing the way we have in pre-season in a 4-3-3.

He's going to be screwed with us, we didn't get a single penalty in the league last year.
Sounds like what we need, we've three big strikers but no-one to really run beyond them. Main issue will probably be who he plays up front with, I can't see him working too well with Wood who was our record signing and leading scorer and tended to start when fit.

I remember referring to Psycho as Nottingham Forrest Gump and thinking I was so clever. Holy shit I'm old (and stupid).

I was probably taller than you either way.

So touchy...

Still in for Fekir apparently - which could be a fantastic signing if it can be pulled off in time.

Yeah, I heard... Would prefer a striker signing tbh but I like him a lot...

Reading finished 7th in 06/07, with almost exactly the same squad that won the Championship
He's been a total cunt, an improved contract has been on the table for over a year but he's refused to sign it... Could've sold him for closer to his true market value a year ago but that probably wouldn't be far off £35m anyway, prices have gone even barmier since then...
Real is the perfect place for him, I hope he screws up...
