...played a shit load of games without knee issue? I'll let you guess.

• #146003
All of them?
I barely remember him playing tbh, he did well for a bit and then went?Nice to have you back. If only for calling people a quilt.

I'd love to see Mawson at the Bridge, I think he's a really classy player... Chelsea fan too...
-
• #146005
Kepa and Kovacic looking more likely now... All speculation tho', obvs...

• #146006
Keeper in so keeper out?

Won the possession and the match report against West Brom. Things are looking up this season.
-
• #146008
As good as he is I don’t understand why you’d pay the inflated fee just because he’s Basque. If we’re talking that sort of money than I’d prefer Oblak. I’m sure AM would be open to the idea as well.

Only caught the last 30 mins. We looked shit

Yet another goal for Sturridge last night. It's like having a great new striker. For 2 weeks probably.
-
• #146011
Won....the match report
I'll be cherry picking Boro to the match report title this season then.

• #146012
Interesting to see how Jorginho, Kante and Kovacic setup together.
Kepa, don’t get it. Good keeper but you may as well sign Butland
-
• #146013
Probably youth and resale value, and finding a good goalkeeper at a decent price is hard to do, especially this late in the window.
Serious question are Chelsea making anything on Courtois? Feels like real are getting him on the cheap, kovacevic for a season long loan and no permanent buy option plus what £30m doesn’t feel like good value, despite real valuing kovacevic at £50m -
• #146014
Last year of his contract, innit?
-
• #146015
You had him along time, if real wanted him that badly you could squeeze some more out of them, especially with the European window open longer.
He’s a world class goalkeeper and you’ve just made the going rate £70m. To get £30m and a player on loan doesn’t seem like enough.. -
• #146016
They'll wait 'til the summer and get him on a Bosman... Everyone wins apart from us...
-
• #146017
Sounds like we've signed Vydra from Derby. Don't know a huge amount about him but sounds like what we need, offers a bit of pace and trickery and was Championship top scorer last season.
Of the Championship top scorers in the past 3 seasons, we own two of them and sold the other one last year.

LAMPARD OUT!
ffs
-
• #146019
would he have the balls, to sit it out, Boegaard style, or would he play it out?
Obviously we'll never get the answer as I hear he's on a flight to Madrid. -

Fucking tabloids....
Spurs fanny about unsettling Grealish all summer and when they finally make an offer 48 hrs before the slamming the Mirror comes up with this:
Spurs are growing impatient with Aston Villa over Jack Grealish.
The north Londoners have offered £25m for the midfielder but were last night stunned to learn Villa want over £30m before they will be prepared to allow Grealish to leave.
Shitrag.

Re Fekir: Klopp still wants him but his knee was put back together with a rubberband and some string so insurance wont cover him at that price (50ish)... I suspect Liverpool are holding out for something like 30mil and he only wants us or to stay (where his price will drop and contract runs out)
That's my reading into it anyways

Could be worse, at one point it looked like Derby were going to end up with Nakhi Wells in return.
-
• #146023
Spanish media report that Kepa’s lawyers have deposited €80m to buy out his contract with Athletic.
Just think back to the days when we had Emenalo taking care of our transfers.

Excellent...
GREALISH 'GOING NOWHERE'
Big news coming out of Villa Park.
Sky sources: Jack Grealish will not be sold to anyone in this transfer window, despite interest from Tottenham and 'other clubs' this window.
Sources are telling us Aston Villa's new executive chairman Nassef Sawiris has told Tottenham and any other potential suitors he is not interested in their money.

They paid £4m for him from Genk. I think £35m seems cheap but he only has a year left on his contract and they need to get the deal done and a replacement in.
Kepa is 23 & Butland is 25.
Don't be a quilt, Mike. This a narrative spun by the lazy: we lost it at West Brom. The slippy thing is what other fans use to taunt. You're perpetuating it.
