• In the last 2 weeks I've spent about £300 on gaskets, seals, slave cylinder, new braided clutch line, gearbox and diff oil, things like that, plus the £100 cost of the engine means this is not quite the quick, cheap, and dirty engine swap I was planning, but still pretty cost effective.

    ^^^ Above will probably set me back about 2k on top of what I've already spent/got, which is peanuts I think compared to what @Dammit might be spending.

  • Just got home indication that the head guy would like to send me an invoice. Digging back through emails his quote (around a year and a half ago) was £2,800+VAT as a guideline. Not very sure what is going to turn up one Sunday when he’s back from Shelsey Wash.
