Joe Hart to Burnley.

We should swap him with Oblak. No money changing hands and let Real do one >>>

• #145955
He's pushing for Real tho', the any team in Madrid thing is bollocks, I would totally take that deal no problem...

I just missed it between THFC and CFC "bantz".

It’d be worth it just to piss on Florentino’s chips.

Yentzing season is nearly over. It’s been an underwhelming transfer window for most clubs I’d say. Only Liverpool seem to have significantly strengthened their squad. I’m not even trolling when I said they’re going to win the league.

It would be so straightforward, wouldn't it?
Only time will tell, probably my most used phrase in this thread... Chelsea always keep you guessing...

He would solve our midfield issues, with so many out injured and dembele probably leaving/not leaving..
Don’t think we can afford him though. -

He wants first team football, his wages aren’t extortionate, and we’re in the champions league. New stadium, interesting “project” and all that, plus we’re in london and I’m sure Modric and bale have been telling him about the wonderful time they had at spurs..

On a transfer related note, Bernard from Donetsk to Everton, on a free, reportedly he wanted £200k+ a week but wasn’t getting any bites, so sat on the shelf for a couple of months, now Everton after interest from West Ham are on the verge.
Wonder how much he came down on his weekly wage to get that to happen? Or if Everton just need to buy players to make silva happy? -

As long as we keep winning a trophy every other year it’ll probably stay like that as well. If we don’t than we’ll be in the same boat like Arsenal only with a smaller, less revenue generating stadium.

GK - AN Other
LB - Alonso
CB - Christensen
CB - Rudiger
RB - Azpilicueta
LM - Kovačić
CM - Jorghino
RM - Kante
LW - Hazard
CF - Morata/Batsman
RW - WillianProviding no crazy sums of money come our way for Hazard, Kante and Willian than 6th place could be on for us.

He's a bosman so always going to be on a bumper package. I don't think I would take a gamble on him in the premier league and certainly not a player West Ham or Everton need but both clubs transfer policy is beyond me.

Chelsea in for Oblak and Fekir. Courtois to Madrid should go through if they can get Oblak deal done.

Gibson and Mawson are two impressive bits of business (involving English players). I do worry about Burnley's real lack of depth - you concerned?

I thought you were signing Lobotka, more likely to happen imo.

KSE holdings to take full control of Arsenal. Absolute fucking bollocks. Will be free to take pay dividends from Arsenal profits to pay for his US interests and finance the huge loan he's taken out to pay for the shares.
Gazidis fucking off to Milan because Josh Kroenke will be made CEO. Aaron Ramsey running down his contract. Looking to loan out Chambers to buy Vida (29 yo) alongside the 34 yr old defender we signed on a free, the 30 yr old we paid £20m for. And we don't have a LB.
Also people laugh at Everton for Klassie but we bought Lucas Perez for £20m played 5 games for us, loaned him out (paid 60% of his salary) and now selling him for €4.5m.
The banter era is still alive and kicking my friends.

Mawson has gone to Fulham, we missed out on him at the last minute.
If we don't lose anyone we're solid across the back 5 with reasonable replacements.
We need another creative midfielder and winger though (Steven Defour, although a quality player, seems to spend a fair bit of time injured), or possibly someone who can fill both roles.
We also need a pacy/skilful striker to complement our 3 big men.
Too many of our replacements are industrious, at the moment we'll be looking at bringing Jon Walters on to change a game ...

Spurs and Villa apparently still £7m apart in their valuations of Grealish.
I'd have thought Villa Would've valued him at more than £8m

Great post. We might just beat your lot to 5th place.

Sorry I phrased that poorly - both transfers are good value for you and Fulham. Was surprised how cheaply the players came in at, given the premium usually attached to English players.
I have Burnley as 4th faves for relegation because I don't see them performing to the same levels as last season and the squad is paper thin. Hope I'm wrong, as I love the gravelly musings of Dyche on MotD
Latest rumour is Kovačić on loan from Real... Doesn't solve our goalkeeper and centre forward woes but there you go... It's silly season!
