Today was my first "commute" from waterloo station round to fleet st, having moved out of london and missing doing at least some biking. I bought myself an utter piece of shit/frankenbike/bitzer for £40 off gumtree: 58cm peugeot mont blanc frame with DIY cantilever brakes, 26" chunky af mountain bike tires, an upsidedown mounted kids mtb flat bar with some old school chrome down tube shifters mounted on them and seat with a quick release thing which comes off of a wheel. The idea is to hopefully be theft proof so I can leave it at station overnight...
