  • I lost interest in that half way through when it became clear it was based on too many assumptions eg pens being scored and predicting how games would finish in different circumstances. That's not to say teams don't have runs of good/poor decisions. I'm still not convinced by VAR (not it's efficiency and excitement). When people say, "well, it would be stupid to use it for every decision such as throw ins etc" how many times do teams score from corners that should have been goal kicks? Do away with it I say, perhaps for everything except violent conduct
