Don't you just love those speed bumps that sit in the middle of each lane?
Sainsburys driver overtook me this morning, only to swerve in way too early, so he could go over the speed bump square. Nearly clipped me and sent me into the gutter.
At least that's what I thought his reasonings were. After he sped off over 35mph in an 20, I caught up with him at the lights and politely asked him to give me and other cyclists more room, to which he remarked 'well I could see a perfectly good bike lane next to you' (said bike lane being one that is painted on the pavement and in no way safe for either bike or ped at bike speeds). I said my choice of road shouldn't give him the right to take my life into his hands. He then apologised SHOCK. Left it at that and told him to drive safely.
Doubt his attitude will change but the apology was some consolation. The one day I don't have my fly 12 on...

Always get buzzed by drivers insisting on taking them square on and the only reason they exist in the first place is because drivers can't be relied upon not to speed.
