This is scary if true; the last place you are looking at is down at the road when navigating Old St. round about, so it could have happened to anyone
If this is true then perhaps the council are accountable to some degree. Regardless, my thoughts have been with the victim ever since I heard the horrific, sad and scary news.

Well, there's that whole 'driving for the conditions' thing - taking it a bit easy around vulnerable road users, so that should the worse happens you do have time to take evasive action.
Hmmm anyway these threads aren't usually used for apportioning or discussing blame.

In another serious crash on Old St roundabout seven years ago allegedly two cyclists collided and one of the riders was then run over by a lorry.
