skateboard wheels do work as replacements, they stick out a fair bit more, so heel strike happens.. Speak to @cake he has done this..

There aren't any lighter folding pedals, been looking, you'll have to get a removable one like @maynardeames suggests. It's on my list of things to replace..

I already get occasional heel strike, not very keen on increasing the likelihood of that happening... Might have to stick with Brompton pedals then, disappointing... They're so clunky...
