• Yeah seen those and im certainly no expert but i believe the belt with the wider less point tooth are stock for this car.

    I got a suggestion that the main pulley may have not be put together perfectly straight if it had been off causing the belt to wear abnormally. And thats a possiblity since the timing belt have been replaced as well and beleieve you have to take it all off to get to that.

  • Think the pully has a woodruff key. Pulley looks balanced to the crank.

    Unless they damaged the pulley or key.

  • Yes i think its centered okay on the axle itself but perhaps theres a spacer or something that is on there that should be on the other side or something similar causing the pulley to be straight but not parallell perhaps?

    I just gave away the original belts to the mechanic and he is ordering 3 new belts so i cant check the profile right now.

    I think they will fix it properly now (tomorrow and not ask for payment) and then everything will be good. 1 time is no time right.. I will then forget it ever happen and live happily ever after? :)
