It's like the 1970s all over again, apart from the fact that Liverpool aren't Champions
But like then, the media have no fucking clue whom we're in for until they'r pictured touching the sign and leaning. Seems to be no low balling then running to media to say, "well we tried signing pele..." bollocks that's gone on in the recent past.

We have had an ideal preseason so far.
Narrow win over Perth.
Draw followed by penalty shoot out to Inter
Lost to Arsenal (shipping seven goals).
Slaughtered by Man City.
Three goals scored in four games. Conceded thirteen.
And now one more game and a few days of intensive transfer activity.
Far better for a new manager to expose the weaknesses in preseason than be given a false sense of security.
