Good fun today at the race. Only worry is the track safety going forward, path crossing, U̶ ̶t̶u̶r̶n̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶c̶r̶o̶s̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶n̶i̶s̶h̶ ̶l̶i̶n̶e̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶d̶a̶n̶g̶e̶r̶o̶u̶s̶ (̶c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶d̶ ̶a̶ ̶c̶r̶a̶s̶h̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶g̶u̶y̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶s̶u̶p̶p̶o̶r̶t̶ ̶r̶a̶c̶e̶)̶ and whip skidding also. All this while the race is still going on, hopefully going forward that can be improved, other than that great day! Hoping for the continual growth of this event.

No real organisational issues this afternoon, thought WCT did a pretty good job.
The single crash was caused by a guy losing his helmet-lens/visor (at my feet) then turning sharply to collect it. A simple shoulder-check would have prevented it and I am sure the guy is mortified.
The contra-flow after the finish line was pretty reasonable and I didn't see any rank irresponsibility (can't ask riders to complete a full lap or walk their bikes back to the support area after finishing).
Was pleased by the lack of drama.

Can confirm that the guy did do a U-turn. Source: I was the guy who got hit.
according to the guy who I hit, he did a U-turn because everyone else did a U-turn. He then swerved to miss 2 people. I was in the blind spot of these 2 people and so he didn't see me.

MINET CRIT is a brakeless track bike criterium race held at Hillingdon Cycle Circuit in West London with separate races for men and women. The race is both fast and technical, a true test of any riders bike handling skills and athletic ability. Riders will battle it out through the qualifying groups to the final race.
