In an effort to 'Be Moar @spotter" i wanted to paint my TCX
He's lucky that BLB didnt have 'Greys Inn Road' in stock and that i had to go with 'Blackfriars' for the paint.
I'm also lucky as 'Blackfriars' was supposedly sold out and obvz black was furst choice.......

Because there was a 000000000000000.1% possibility that you might not end up with a black bike? ;-)

hahahhaha - i hate this stand, and the feet are pathetic
I did all the painting outside so this is just sat inside to cure before i go back out later to add the clearcoat.

Question:
Do i lightly sand the paint before clearcoating?
-
• #120463
Why you asking me? Haha
I think you’re supposed to. I never have but then I always end up with a shit finish so that’s probably why -

Buy my Feedback stand already ;)

• #120465
Haha - you still got that?!
Tentive dibs till some speculative date in the future where I can bring myself to spend $$$$ on something that when you’re using it is the best thing in he whole world, but realistically is going to spend 360 days a year tucked down the side of the wardrobe in the spare room...

Shimano BR-R451 or take your pick from Tektro according to your price preference, R737 is the #tartmode* Quartz version, but even the cheap R317 now has the long throw QR with safety latch.
* #tartmode is of course a relative term when we're talking Tektro**, Spa have all variants of the 737 at £45 a pair, which is a better buy than Shimano R451s at ~£42.
**Because Tektro have a #tartmode all of their own, TRP RG957 at about £140 a set is what they do for people who have more money than sense.

Minor tweaks to my Peugeot, stem, Record seatpost and a Flite Max saddle as it has matching red/yellow highlights.

I got this frame from Bikeworks and added the forks. It now has a different seatpost but still needs a low stack headset. Rides like a dream.
