I think his strategy needs work. Doing it in a Brompton is hard enough, burrowing is too much.
Hehe. Has hat34 ever done this on a regular geometry or did he go straight in at Brompton?
Weather seems more extreme this year. Hope it doesn't cause too many scratches.
I think his choice of hub was very poor - he would have been better getting a rohloff or sticking with Brompton 6 speed (maybe with 2 chainrings). Shimano hub gears are so inefficient.
