I think Umbro have done a great job with pretty much all their kits this season.

That's really clean but I'm not sold on the colour of umbro sleave contrast.
Not sure what colour would have worked better but it just jars a bit.

At least the sponsors log is pretty clean though.

Yeah, I guess there is a recent trend for away shirts to have some hi-vis accents. We had some pink highlights on our away kit last season and a bright yellow and blue 3rd kit.

The 32 Red sponsorship came in at the same time Frank was announced, I think we actually got a really good deal due to his profile. The club actually did the first photoshoot of this kit before the sponsor was added to the shirt and the colour look better on them than they do in the studio shots.

That's actually quite nice.

I'm just excited about proper football starting again tomorrow night.

At the end of last season I was pretty apathetic towards the team and how the season had panned out. More so than usual after our regular new year slump of form.

With Rowett leaving (and us getting compensation for him!) and Frank coming in and the signings he's made, I'm actually pretty excited to watch the team again. We've had a good pre-season but I don't want to count any chickens. Mason Mount has been touted as a future England star and from what I've seen of the friendlies he's been involved in so far he could be the best signing we've made all summer.

Calm down, he's only on loan...

That's a very handsome strip, makes a big difference that the sponsor's branding is nice and simple... Some of those other championship sponsor logos are horrific...

I know he's only on loan. But that's what makes it so weird. We've had some good loans down the years that have added quality to the team, but the fans didn't get as excited about them as Mount.

Let me be happy about football until February when it all goes wrong again. (Or tomorrow night if it all goes tits up early).
