  • Absolutely. Yeah I had my eye on a few things but bidding was pretty intense and it was more out of interest that an serious intent to buy.

Let me know about the Ingersoll. Cheers

  • Drop me a PM with your address deets and I’ll get it in the post this week.

  • Ughhhhhhh way too late to the thread.

  • Apocalypse watch seems necessary with impending brexitation.

Think £90 is fair for an apparently ‘as new’ prw-2500 (module 3258)? Gonna go see shortly if the guy is telling porkies.

  • What a monster...!

Edit: tried on the HK perlon. Not bad.

  • So I decided to try a steinhart Pepsi... Sell the other when ready.

    First opinion
The GMT hand FUCKING DOESN'T LINE UP THE THE HOUR MARKER!! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!
Next is there's residual glue round the cyclops.

    Pros
The lume one this is spectacular.

  • I like that strap.

(and I dont get the I want to believe ref)

  • Less than £2 from ebay. Ordered a 20mm, two weeks later a 22mm arrives. Then by chance this watch is on gumtree. I’ll take that coincidence.

I want to believe is the X-Files reference. It was memed a bit, but it was a very very tenuous “nothing lines up, but I wanted to believe it would” (like the whole aliens in x-files thing).

Not sure what you mean by this. The GMT hand isn't a jumping hour hand and it should line up to the bezel. Unless you set the watch to 'on the hour" and the bezel at 0º how can you tell?

  • Once seen

  • Are the oysters 36mm?

  • Yes . 116000
“Technically “ preowned as warranties been activated but all have stickers on . I believe were purchased on a whim by client and left in store for adjustment at a later date , then client changed his mind and had something else. So are bargains!

I had paid a watchmaker to fix this before you had the watch, which I suspect shows that I should not have paid them.

  • Ha, really? It was still a fair bit out of position. So much so that I doubt anybody actually tried to fix it. Either that or it reverted itself somehow.

  • Its currently 36 degrees outside where I am and over 40 degrees in the office I am working in.

I cannot stop thinking about the Rolex dealership across the road with the high power AC. This could end badly.

  • A love hotel would be more economical

  • Alright kiddos, there was a lot of interest in the Speedy but no firm offers. Just chucking it up here once again before I eBay it:

£2400, latest version, hesalite, comes with all the case candy and a spare sapphire back, some minor scratches, makes you look like a boss, LFGSS background not included:

  • have you got another pic of the perlon buckle?

    (i feel dirty)

  • please

  • Since you said please...
