• Dear Phil

Thanks for contacting us on 27 July 2018 about the poor behaviour of the route 159 bus driver. I'm sorry about the drivers dangerous driving, as he forced you over two lanes of traffic putting your life at risk at Trafalgar Square, as you approached the roundabout.

I do appreciate this is unacceptable behaviour from a route 159 bus driver. You have requested for CCTV footage of the incident, and I can confirm that your request and complaint, have been brought to the attention of Abellio London.

They're the bus operating company that runs the route 159 for us and who the driver is directly employed by. With the information that you've kindly provided to us, the driver will be identified.

When a complaint like this is made, a manager will call the driver in for an interview. The CCTV footage from the bus will be viewed to support your complaint. After this, based on the findings, appropriate action will be taken.

The route operators have a range of disciplinary measures which can be taken, depending on the incident and the individual's disciplinary record.

TFL’s policies are geared towards exceeding customer expectations and your feedback will help us improve our services.

Good. Hope they sack the prick

For some added context, driver of a bus moved beside me to my left as we moved away from traffic lights then started moving over into me whilst making direct eye contact with me in his mirror and not indicating. He turned right at the roundabout from the left lane forcing me over towards the centre and past my intended exit

  • Yes but to TFL so hopefully they pass on my request like they say they have. If not, I will ask direct

  • Does GDPR work with non-tfl buses?

Had some Westway coach (endorsed by Her Majesty the Queen) pull alongside in the lane to the right today then proceed to use his bus to force me off my lane because he was in a turn right only one.

He did stop at the next light where since I was going right I sailed past with my finger up hearing behind me "fuck off. Wankerrrrr". Which I found quite funny.
