These build up into decent ~7.5kg road bikes and it's only £200 at the moment. Similar idea to a CAAD12 or whatever: top spec aluminium is as good as cheap Chinese crabon. With some 1500g wheels and Ultegra/Rival/whatever it would be pretty weenie for safely under £1000 I should think.

Looks like it didn't sell. Tempted to message the seller to see if they still have it and buy it outside of ebay.

My phone battery died 2 minutes from the end of the auction, so I had to park up and get my iPad out of the boot...

Planning a fixed gear TT type build, but might end up just replacing my pre Cursa with something jazz.

Interesting giro frame and forks..Nippon-Hodo were a team as far as i can tell..and it seems to be signed. rear brake bridge is tasty....

I like the Arette best, it'll take fat 700c CX tyres and has eyelets for mudguards and front rack - perfect rat bike for town crusing - as seen here

I made a bike because I couldn't find anything on the market that met my needs which were:

• very lightweight and very strong carbon frame
  
• robust front wheel for road use
  
• brake calliper fittings front and rear
  
• horizontal dropouts for single speed application and proper chain tensioning
  

How hard did he look I wonder?
