• 1 litre per hour when it is hot is not unusual. A bit less when it is cooler - evening / morning.
    20 litres in a day sounds like the upper edge of what is safe. I wouldn't normally count it - maybe Skinny is just guesstimating? You just monitor it with the colour (or absence) of pee. Drink more if it's too dark or you haven't done one for hours - drink less if it's clear.

    IME the main challenge is to dial back drinking in the evening when you stop sweating. I've got that wrong on some rides had had to pee ridiculous amounts in the first half of the night.
