Common sense would say thats it, you used your car as a weapon, you have lost the privilege of driving and banned for life.
But if anything at all, he'll get a 12 month ban and a hundred quid fine
Why we continue to see driving as a right and not a privilege is beyond me. Letting off drivers who kill and admit they weren't paying attention, handing out temporary bans for dangerous drivers like that will somehow improve their driving etc
