Did you buy a pole?

I’ve used this tarp with a walking pole at one end. It was ok.

There is a pocket-thing stitched in to hold a pole centrally. I want to try this but a walking pole is actually a bit long to do this (when setting up for a bit for wind).

Are there shorter telescopic poles that’d work?

So far I’ve just attached it to tree/branches at one point making a ‘tent’ shape. , will try to get photos if I don’t forget . So far it’s been a bit of an experiment. In a campsite tonight and got asked ‘ are you seriously going to sleep in that?’ .
