Oh really? Hmm, it's a lot of coin to drop on watch... Why are they priced so high then? Although I'm not after investment, just a nice 40th gift that will be a keeper.
That said, I actually found a new longines yesterday that was nice, affordable and from a real store. Even though it's "just" a longines it felt really nicely made.

Yes, that's fixable.
Can you get a caliper measurement of the pusher button width and thread width of the pusher rod?

At retail?

As far as your friend is concerned it's terminal, and the value has dropped to whatever you have in your pocket...

SRPC15
Lovely, I've had my eye on the SRPC13
Looks big though
-
• #28783
Rather beautiful I think.

I've been eyeing that up as well.
Don't think I'd wear it enough though to justify.
Plus the ministry of home affairs is already giving me looks when she catches me looking at watches... -

The SRPB15J1 is another alternative
Probably easier to find too.

Always been perversely attracted to one of these despite obvious brand shortfalls of more recent years.

So I've squashed the notion of a Grand Seiko and instead ordered the poorman's version - the Seiko SARB033. I shouldn't ask but... anyone know who has a SARB021 in stock? I've just found out about its existence and curious.

These new Seiko Presage with Shippo enamel dial give me a chub on.

A bit rich for me but agreed they're lovely, especially on a black leather strap they look great. Really nice size too.

Yes that one's super cool! Tbh I probably would've gone for that one if it hadn't sold out at my usual dealer. It's on the bigger side, probably borderline too big for my 17 cm wrist. The funkiness makes up for it though, reminds me of a flying saucer 8-)

Oof!

• #28798
Hadn't seen the price. A bit rich indeed.
-

Not saying it's overpriced, I don't know enough about watches compared to many here - more just for my budget. Correct me if I'm wrong but I do get impression Seiko could charge a lot more generally.

The presage is lovely. There are some being sold on the bay at the moment which slightly takes away some of the “limited edition” shine
