Since Friday (I think) loads of LFGSS pages have been randomly hanging for me. I click the link and it loads about 10-20% in the bar and then hangs without leaving the page I'm on. The only way I can "unblock" it is by restarting Chrome (66 on Android 6.0.1).
Anyone else having a similar problem?

Anyone else having a similar problem?
Yes, also noticed this on my phone (Android 7.1.1).

I'm trying to update this thread, using Chromium (as I can't upload images with Firefox).
Every few minutes, I need to shut down Chromium and login again, as I appear to lose connection.
Also, it does weird things with image rotation. For at least one image, it doesn't matter whcih way I have it rotated on my desktop, it will never show aligned correctly.

@TW had same issues.
swapped from Firefox to MSN just to load piccys.
Firefox used to work but a change rendered it useless...... techy stuff beyond me.they sometimes show wrong alinement when uploading but appear correct when loaded and viewable

LFGSS pages haven't been opening for me for a week too, relaunching browser sorts it, but only for a bit... old Macbook on OS 10.6.8 with Chrome 49.0.2623.112, adblocker, ghostery.

Ditto. Laptops (chrome) a bit better than my phone (android), but not great. Get a message in Chrome saying 'waiting for available socket'.

Same here on chrome for Android. I have to kill browser and reopen. About one in ten pages hangs and then all hang until I restart.
Other web sites continue to function fine.

Also having this issue with Chrome on the phone. Sometimes pages just don't load, regardless of having Blokada on or different DNS or not. Leave it a while and will start working again.
No problem with Edge on the laptop

Site is almost unusable due to these hangs. I am restarting Chrome about once a minute.
Consequently I am beginning to see signs of increased productivity in my real life. Not good.

No issues with chrome on mobile here.
Android 8
Chrome 67.0.3396.87Chromebook also fine

When it hangs for me it says "waiting for available socket" in bottom left, if that helps at all. Don't seem to have the issue on mobile (Android/Chrome).

If I can get a collection of devices + user agents that would be great. Easiest way is to visit https://www.lfgss.com/cdn-cgi/trace and copy and paste that into here.

FWIW, I wondered if the problem was related to the new Data Saver feature in Chrome mobile, but I still have the issue with that turned off (or on, for that matter)

Maybe you should get an iPhone.
So every time someone posts a wikipedia link with a bracket (parenthesis) at the end, that last parenthesis is removed in the resultant link
e.g. https://www.lfgss.com/comments/14328833/
I've noticed this three or four times over the last few weeks - can't tell if that's wikipedia adding more parentheses or something that's changed here...
