Shit! I know that part .. literally just installed M18 on my genesis (and dynamo rear light, waiting on the Nitto lamp holder to install front).

Hard to judge the dimensions but that looks very similar to the Daruma bolt I just removed from my Velo Orange mudguards when I put them on a different fork.

@jambon I did the same. I used a similar part from an old 90s cantilever brake like below. Called a 'brake pad eye bolt'. Only issue is that they are longer than the rack ones and the thread does not go all the way up to the top so you need some spacers. But works fine.
