Looks all good. 2018's first stage finished in my hometown and now 5 and 6 stages are on my girlfriend's family turf.

Looks like a good excuse to pop over to Brussels and drink some beer.

Just a few days to go.
Liking the possibility of it being an open tdf and hoping no one crushes it on planche de belle filles in week one and ends the GC as a contest. -

And they've finished stage 1... Teunissen in yellow ✌🏼
So, are we continuing here, or in the pro cycling thread?

How come Sagan is allowed to wear the green in today's team time trial if he's not officially in the green jersey after stage 1...?
I get that he's a legend of the sport etc. but I thought that points jersey wearing was quite strict?
-
• #16
The current points leader has another colour jersey so second place wears it.
-
• #17
Teunissen leads both the yellow and green jersey competitions so the second place in the less prestigious competition (green) wears that jersey. This is standard for all jerseys.

Thanks both, fount of knowledge this place!

Why is this thread so unloved...

What odds?
-
• #23
3.24.
I tried to hedge my bets though and also bet on G (3.50). So I effectively halved it.
Wish I'd put more on or delayed the bet for later in the tour though as I imagine his odds lengthened before the Alps.
Who will suit the parcours?
Will Frome enter and will Thomas still be with Sky?
