Bizarre bikes bazaar

  • Time for a clearout - I will list these bikes from "best" to "worst" just to stir the pot. Listings are numbered with the TL;DR summary followed by full description and pictures. All prices are suggested donations, and are going to a charity for refugee education that I have volunteered with. Pickup is in NW10, preferably today or tomorrow. PM me for address phone number, first one with the cash takes it, I can't promise to wait on dibs (sorry):

1 - Gloriously hideous matchy-matchy orange and yellow steel lugged racer Gone
Bernard Carré frame 53x53 (thanks to @Vince some years back) with mixed campagnolo 2x8sp group (downtube cokespoon shifters) weinmann brakes, gipiemme strada cranks and Miche excite wheelset (bladed spokes). I just lent this out for a year, and it came back with flat tyres and very faded bartape, but I am happy to provide new tyres and tubes and bar tape if you pick up and want to ride away. I also have a range of alternative quill stems if the reach looks too long for you. This is a great light steel bike (a few chips in paint with surface rust, but nothing extreme) - it just deserves a bit of TLC.

2 - Fixed fun rat chimaera with squashed tail £35
Boardman CX frame (I think it's a 56) given to me by someone on the forum because the rear dropouts were squashed together in transit to 100mm, so I have fitted a front disc wheel with a fixed cog bolted on. FSA gossamer cranks easton monkey bars and a front brake. Carbon fork has tapered steerer (as the frame requires). I would prefer to keep the battered concor supercorsa saddle and the crank bros pedals, but I will throw them in for an extra £15. The (two front) wheels are SRAM x9 hubs on mavic cxp33 rims - I have the matching rears as well if those are of interest. Tyres are fairly new Vittoria zaffiro 32c. This bike sounds mad but it is so fun to ride, with it's big tyres and light weight, that I am loath to let go of it, although I'll be losing money on the parts (frame being passed on for free, as received of course). This is ready to ride away, but it's kind of a "take your life in your own hands sort of bike."

    3 - White knight Gone
Pinarello Catena 56TT, 54ST (c-c), fixed 48x16 (chain isn't on there, but don't worry, I have a matching white chain. This has some paint chips missing in a couple spots near the headtube (a front-end crash from previous owner) but there is no visible damage to the tubes (and steel is real amiright?). I tried to put all the white things on this bike bc why not, so it has a nominally white concor supercorsa saddle (may look grey, but don't let your eyes deceive you). And white tyres (I have another spare one for the rear, but I couldn't be asked to change the tyre). And white moustache handlebars. Did I mention the white chain? yeah, I have two of those for some reason. The rear wheel is fixed/fixed, and the rim does not have a breaking surface.

the chipped paint (chromed underneath, so no rust damage):

    4 - Dark Horse - frame free, parts £50
Dolan Track champion (TC1) size 58 with perennial seat-tube clamp issues, brakeless (undrilled fork). This seems to have had a cracked seatclamp which was tig-weld repaired by previous owner, but it seems to be cracking on the front of the seat-tube (above the top tube of course). I would happily carry on riding the frame, maybe with some fibe-fix, but I think it deserves a home with someone who will put it under less stress (ie someone at least 3 stone lighter!), and I have been banned from riding brakeless, and haven't been bothered to change the forks.
The good news: It currently has a Dura-Ace 7700 crankset and 7710NJS BB, which you can have for £50 if you take the whole thing. For an additional £50 you can have the front wheel which is a DA C24 wheel with very light gommitalia iris kevlar 23c tyre. So with your own rear wheel (not selling the spinergy currently on there) you could ride this away for £100. Total bargain. (EDIT: forgot the ALPINA headset, add £10 for that please, and another £10 if you want the stem, bars and grips pictured)

5 - Dutch bike begging for a new home Gone
This is a gaspipe gazelle, size 60, very dutch-style geometry. I tried to fix the shifter cable for the IGH, but then I realised it was a bit complicated to reroute the shifter to somewhere sensible (it was DT shifter style but had been mounted on the seat tube?!? - but why?!). I will basically take any offer on this, and will help you with any bits you need to ride it off.

    6 - Raleigh gaspipe £30
Size 56-58 roughly. This is pretty basic, and has had a few rust spots, but it is structurally solid, and it can be ridden away, with working brakes and gears (2x5 shimano, w/ downtube shifters).

    7 - Cargo trike/baby carrier £30
This was a cargo trike when I got it, and before my daughter was old enough to go on a proper bike seat (according to someone), I installed a car seat and built a plywood frame (to stop her from sticking her fingers in the wheel for example. I never got as far as covering this with some soft material, but it would be a quick job with a staple gun. Or you could just take the whole thing out and go back to a cargo bike. In any case, it's pretty handy, but very large to store, so I just want to get rid of it really. The bike gearing is 1x5, but the chain broke and it seems to need a longer one than any I have, but I can probably help you cobble a couple together if you have a way with chainbreakers. The size is about the equivalent of a 54 I think.
Here it is as a cargo bike:

and here it is with baby car seat (with seat belt):

    8 - Ammaco POS Gone
I was given this by someone who crashed it and replaced the forks, but the only ones I had would require long drop brakes to fit this, so it's a bit of a PITA, but otherwise looks fairly new. It measures up as 60 c-c ST, 58 c-c TT.

I have several pairs of shoes also shown in this album - all free with another purchase, all size 9. I have listed them in the order they appear in the album:
sh1 - Adidas sandal shoes for cycling?
    sh2 - Adidas hi-top cycling boots
    sh3 - Pearl Izumi I-beams
sh4 - Lake fake vans tan street shoes
sh5 - North face hiking boots
sh6 - shimano carbon sole road shoes

I also have lots of track grips in black and white

as well as lots of wheels and tyres, and other random bits, including these AMAZING TSHIRTS (tenner each):

If you are taking something for free please put in a donation to the forum or buy something else - the cash will be put together and go to charity. Thanks!

Updated with those sold - the boardman has also been spoken for, and interest in the cargo trike... the gaspipe raleigh is still friendless though. Remember, it can be ridden away, and all I am looking for is a donation - consider it pay what you will, just take this highly usable and useful bike and ride into the fading sun!!
