I’m quite surprised it’s that high between best and worst.

I was thinking about the value of a comfortable lead, having to have worked less yesterday and the effect being in yellow has on performance.

The ITV4 highlights show has been having a segment where Chris Boardman uses his new wind tunnel to measure the difference between positions, bikes and clothing.

Clothing made a huge difference.

I've looked to see if the videos are available online, but they don't seem to be.

I think the psychological benefit of having a target (e.g Roglic not far from second place) would be stronger than not losing time.
Don’t think we’re going to see a Lemond Fignon situation today though.

How did Roglic get so far ahead of Froome? Thought he was 16 seconds down at the start of yesterday and finished 17 seconds ahead of him?

More on the skinsuit debate, shame the yellow jersey disadvantages you in this way, something the UCI/ASO needs to address. More if a shame is that Thomas can't ride it in his British Champ's stripes.

He was 19 seconds up on the Thomas group at the finish and got a 10 second time bonus for the stage win.

Cheers. Thought the ES commentators had said there was no time bonus, must have picked them up wrong

Just interviewed Dumoulin who managed to lose his WCS skinsuit and had to have another one made for him this morning.

Sagan must be in lots of pain. Not even riding in a skin suit.

Heavily bruised/ fractured rib perhaps? Would make getting into a skinsuits very painful.
