Lotto were ace today. Fair play. One or two good additions to their team and they can really challenge Sky next year.

Kruiswijk twice towed Froome back to the leaders group when he threatened Roglic's podium position. I don't understand how that makes sense-conventional tactics would be For Lotto to distance him and spread Sky's resources by forcing Bernal to do it.

can someone pls explain why?

Move up GC himself? If he was outside top 10 he probably would have interfered, but he moved up to 5th yesterday.

Not sure. It may have been more important in their minds to have an extra man for Roglic (if they wanted the ability to do the 1-2 kinda attack).
