911 engine - engine builder is focussing on the intake port at the moment, which started off (flowbench figures) at 277 CFM at 0.5" lift.
That's now at 287 with some porting, but target is 300 (engine builder got 325 bhp from a 2.4 litre 4 cylinder running this level of flow).
To hit 300 we're looking at basically adding back in some short side radius - likely with epoxy.
The rest of the intake will be Jenvey ITB's, each in an enclosure that then connect via a 997 GT3 balance tube - which contains three flap-selectable sub-tubes, all of which can be called by the Syvecs unit to adjust for resonance effects in the intake tract.
The Syvecs S8 has enough outputs to run this as delivered, helpfully.
We'll keep most of the stock airbox and cold air intake snorkel, should calm down the intake noise a bit also which might help me get on track more easily.
I can come and lend moral support.
