  • @GreatSince78 has one that he's looking to sell I believe, drop him a PM?

  • couple of Yuba Mundo's on ebay right now. I'm tempted, but a little too far away to pick up for me.

  • Got a link?

  • and

    link

  • like!

Glad I got my kona ute though, not 100% sold on a yuba

  • yeah, i'm keeping an eye out for ute's too, they come up every now and then and seem to be best bike for the money. Did you get your's from ebay?

  • Yeah, paid £450 I think, best £450 I have spent on a bike!

  • stolen from facebook:

  • Very nice!

  • Bet that made cornering fun!

  • Yeah; bad enough when my two decide to start swaying to their singing!

  • ,

  • I've got some On-One OG bars collecting dust.

mashton got my last Hamax mount.

  • What width / rise / sweep / bar clamp do you require?

  • I've got one you can have for free

  • Man I really really want a cargo bike.
Anyone doing a bit of off road and hills with kids in a cargo? Nothing major but it’s about 100m rise in 500m of gravel/ stones etc to get the kids home from school.

Currently use a seat and trailer but big kid gets wet on seat and smaller kid gets bored in trailer by himself ( big bro is too big for trailer)

  • Didn't know where to post this (could have started new thread or put in cargo bikes) but we did the Prudential FreeCycle on Saturday so took the little man up in the Douze with his Cnoc on the back, then let him ride the closed-off circuit. Was great fun and the organised group ride from Ealing (circa 120 riders) was superbly run and took us down some real interesting back roads too. I would really recommend doing this with yer kids, whether they're in the bike or pedalling their own...

  • 1 in 5/20% rise on gravel? That's punchy on a normal bike, never mind a loaded cargo carrier! I've done bits of gravelly surfaces/towpaths on my bakfiets, but haven't combined that with major hills.

  • It can’t be quite those figures- it’s not 20% but it is steep!
Do you reckon an electric assist cargo would do it?

  • I regularly ride on gravel and forest roads with our Bullitt with zero problems.

  • Yeah, surface-wise you should be fine; going down might be a bit scary, depending on your brakes...

  • Just saw this on Facebook... boy the temptation is growing
