While the Jekyll is undoubtably a cool bike, I'm not sure I'd want to have a proprietary pull-shock without a shop warranty to back it up...

No, although Fox will service them.
I wouldn't bother - it looked cool but by all accounts the pull shock Jekylls and Triggers weren't that awesome.
I'd look for a habit, they are fun, versatile bikes.
