Damn, it is 30° this week.

If you leave your cat out all day (or know someone who does), make sure water is available to them.

Have seen 3 cats on my block the last 2 days that were clearly suffering.

Put a tupperware pot of water in the freezer overnight and leave it out each day.

Cats love licking ice and as it melts, it keeps the water cold.

We have a community cat here, his owner died and now he kinda belongs to everyone. I leave water out for him but I'll do the freezer thing tonight, it's a great idea.

I am amazed that stalker cat from upstairs is still alive actually. He has been left outside all day every day in the last month at least with only half bowl of water so by the dinner time, there is none left and the folks don't come home till after pub o'clock...

Think he's gone away with them so hopefully they are not stupid enough to lock the cat outside in an unfamilar environment...

Good advice. I will have to nail* that to every door in the area.

Am about to pack for a 3 weeks away next month... still deciding how and when to break the news...

catnip + dreamies cat treats

According to my cat sitting friends, she usually goes hide under the bed for hours in the 1st evening unitl such time they decide to open a meat stick and wave it gently in the bedroom... she would then come out, eat it and I am forgotten...

My sort of two are now now a year old today.

She knows.

Poor cat, his owners are pure cockends and need to have much violence endowned on them to understand what horrible shitebags they are to the animal they are supposed to care about.

People can be such utter shitebags.
