Dunno what chainset you are using, but if it has a slight recess before the pedal thread starts (like the Alfine does), you may have to fit a washer between the QR and the crank arm - otherwise too much of the QR disappears into crank arm, making it impossible to pull back the release sleeve sufficiently for it to release the pedal. If the pedal thread starts from the outer face of the crank arm, you'll be fine.
Oh, and a cone spanner (15mm) was the only spanner I could find that was thin enough to slot onto the very, very thin flats for tightening the QRs.
